DISCHARGE

When leaving the hospital, you should receive a discharge letter with your diagnosis and treatment plan. If you have been prescribed any medication, the hospital pharmacy may take a few hours to prepare your medication.

You will probably need to arrange follow-up appointments. Make sure you understand when and where your next check-up is. Don’t forget to ask about how you should act at home, including your diet, and any restrictions on activities before leaving.
